About Marik H. Feldman

Marik H. Feldman MS PT

Marik graduated with a BA in Biology from Queens College in 1988. In 1992 he graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York with  Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Physical Therapy.  Marik’s experience has stretched various patient populations and practice settings.  He began honing his craft as a Senior Physical Therapist at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.  He then moved into a supervisory role at Long Island College Hospital where he supervised a team of ten professionals.

Marik also served as an Adjunct Professor of Physical Therapy at Long Island University and continues to serve as mentor and teacher to today’s physical therapy students. Treatment of patient trough home care settings provides further dimension to his experience and Marik has maintained home care treatment for over ten years. Ever aware of the constant need to learn and grow as a health care provider, Marik strongly belives in continuing education.  To that end he has received several treatment certifications, including Current Concepts in Wound Healing, Evidence-Based Practice in Pediatric Physical Therapy, Management of Patients with Vestibular Dysfunction.

In 1998 Marik opened Feldman Physical Therapy as a means to serve the local White Plains/Westchester community.  His unique personal care for every patient creates unparralled treatment and results.   On a personal note Marik is married with three children and resides in the city of White Plains.  When not working he enjoys outdoor activities such as basketball, gardening and biking. He also instructs Karate, plays with his kids and loves his dog.
